Why do we invite Michel?
Michel was among the first Swiss lawyers to turn his attention to new technologies. He has acquired an incredible experience in this domain as the long list of his publications, starting in 1996, can attest. Michel is a true specialist of new technologies from a legal point of view, and whether we want it or not these issues have to be dealt with.
Who should attend his talk?
Michel said he would focus his intervention on the legal ramifications of digitalization projects such as Google book search, which trigger a whole lot of legal issues re: copyright and fair use.
