Challenges and opportunities of
technology in society
Next event: LIFT Asia, 4-5 September 2008
The LIFT community primarly gathers people who attended a LIFT event. Its main objective is to make the LIFT spirit live all year long. It enables the continuation and emulation of discussions initiated at a LIFT event and let its members have their say in the organisation of the next one, for example by suggesting new speakers or themes.
The LIFT community is open to everyone interested in sharing his thoughts on the current challenges and opportunities of technology in our society. If you attended a LIFT event, you already are a member of the community and may login here (request a password, if you do not remember yours)
Joining the community is free. All you have to do is create an account on this website and start filling up your profile page.
As a member of the LIFT community, you have access to a bunch of cool and useful features, such as:
- contributing to the LIFT Community blog
- submitting program suggestion
- creating your personal profile page
- directly contacting other members of the community
- one-click registration to any LIFT event
Visit the "Get Involved" page to discover how you can contribute to the community.
Every LIFT community member gets a personal blog. The LIFT Community blog aggregates all the posts published by community members into one single RSS feed. Subscribe to this feed to get the pulse of the LIFT Community
You can freely write on the LIFT Community blog to tell the community about an idea or person you found interesting, point to an article you wrote, or tell us about an event we shouldn't miss. This is your space, feel free to use it! Please do not post commercial information, as this probably won't interest the community and may backfire.
To blog on the LIFT website, simply navigate to the Submit a blog entry page and fill up the form.
