Jeju Cultural Technology Education Center

‘Excellent project team' in 2007, 2008
Jeju cultural technology education center aims to foster human resources who have expertise and skills in the cultural content business.

What is the NURI project?
NURI is an abbreviation for New University Regional Innovation, and the NURI project refers to a national policy for universities, local governments and industrial companies to nurture talented human resources for the 21st century. The government started the NURI project in an attempt to develop all parts of the nation equally, by strengthenting the capabilities of the local universities and preparing plans to innovate regions.

A human resources development project for the jeju cultural content industry
The 21st century is the era of the culture industry where different cultures are mixed, transcending regions or races. Cultural content, which is considered the core of the culture industry, is created by knowledge and ideas. Only those who have creative knowledge and innovative ideas can make their own content and play a leading role in the future.
Not only does jeju Island have a clean natural environment and its own traditions and culture, but it has also played a pivotal role in the marine culture of northeast Asia, including China, japan, Okinawa, and Taiwan. Therefore, it is necessary to train professional personnel who can make an exact analysis of jeju's traditional culture and freely apply those cultural traditions.

>> Objective and Vision
