SwitzerlandAfter his training as electronics technician, Adrian was drawn into the software market via IBM whereupon he founded the Open Source project netlabs.org. This project has evolved into the largest software vendor in the OS/2 market besides IBM itself.
Subsequently, Adrian studied computer science at a Swiss university of applied sciences with a special emphasis on network security among other things. Currently, he teaches this subject at universities of applied science and external companies according to the open OSSTMM methodology.
For several years Adrian has been significantly involved in repositioning netlabs.org on the software market. A new technology, which is developed there on an Open Source basis, provides for further merging of the web and the desktop, taking intuitive working with the semantic web combined with alternative input methods (multi-touch displays, screenreaders, etc.) to dimensions new and undreamt of.
In his work for netlabs.org, Adrian has acquired extensive qualifications in the area of Open Source Software. He is confident in being able to make realistic assessments of chances and risks as well as possibilities and limits in this area.
