Since lift07, I've switched from freelance editor/Geneva newbie to managing editor for the UN/ISDR's new web project, PreventionWeb.net: building the resilience of nations and communities to disasters. I widened my circle and got back "on" the grid (to counter Stowe Boyd's affirmation that I had gone completely off for a few years prior to lift07) -- thanks to fellow lifters. Prior to moving to GVA from NYC where I began my publishing/media career with *old* media before moving into *new* media in '96, I produced the first Newsweek website and Fortune.com v2. While "off the grid", I have worked in adult language education and communications consulting in Copenhagen, New York and Geneva.
